Fine Art School Photography in Palm Bay

School Photography with a Personal Touch

School photos can be more than just a quick click and a forced smile. At Portraits by Aliza, I offer a boutique school portrait experience for preschools and more that captures each child’s personality in a natural, timeless way — no cheesy backdrops, no awkward poses. Just authentic, joyful moments your families will cherish.

I intentionally use a simple, neutral backdrop and natural light to keep the focus on the child — not props or busy colors. This fine art approach allows every expression, smirk, or spark in their eyes to shine.

It’s timeless, clean, and ensures each child’s portrait looks beautiful in every home, regardless of decor or trend.

FAQ

What does the school need to provide?

Not much! I aim to make photo day simple and seamless. Here’s what I ask for:
-An indoor space (like a classroom, hallway, or multi-purpose room) with natural light. Or a covered outdoor space.

- A class roster so I can organize and label galleries correctly.

- Help with communication — I’ll provide a flyer and email template; the school just needs to forward it to families and hang the flyer in a visible spot.

- Optional assistance — If a staff member or parent volunteer can help bring students to and from the photo area, it helps the day move along more efficiently.

That’s it! I bring all the equipment and handle everything else — from setup and photography to parent inquiries and gallery delivery.

Does the school make money from the photo sessions?

Yes, if you'd like! While I strive to keep pricing affordable for families, I offer a fundraising option where we can add a small percentage to each order to benefit your school. Schools often use this as a simple and effective way to raise funds while offering families meaningful keepsakes.

How does photo delivery work?

All prints and digitals are ordered online by parents and delivered to the school within four weeks. I handle all ordering, payments, and parent questions directly — no paperwork or stress for your staff! I also provide digital files to the school for yearbooks, ID cards, or marketing purposes.

When is the best time to schedule school portraits?

The most popular months are October–November (fall) and March–April (spring) — these fill up quickly, so early booking is recommended.
That said, portraits can be scheduled any time of year, and I'm happy to work with your school’s calendar and classroom flow.

Do you offer sibling photos?

Yes! Sibling portraits are available by request.
Parents must pre-register and note the sibling photo request ahead of time. These are typically done first thing in the morning or between classes, depending on your school’s schedule.
